I had the honor of photographing Perri and Clayton’s wedding at the gorgeous Bay Pointe Inn on Gun Lake. This is one of my favorite venues to photograph at for a couple of reasons…first of all is just lovely and such a pretty location, and second its just 15 minutes from my house! 🙂
Perri and Clayton’s style was just beautiful. So unique and personal. The whole day we kept a close eye on the skies. It was the last day of the intense heat wave we had in Mich. a few weeks ago, and the storms were all around us. It was not until the end of the night that it started to rain. I was able to get one of my all time favorite wedding images at the end of their wedding night because they let me photograph them in the rain on the dock there at Bay Pointe Inn. It was not five minutes after we captured that shot…the rain POURED on us! I have to admit it felt pretty good since we all were pretty hot and sweaty!
I am so excited to show them all their photographs. They were so easy to work with, and I am so thankful for them trusting me to do whatever….even in the rain!
