I love the idea of starting each new year fresh, with lots of hopes and dreams….however, reality settles back in and how quickly we forget how ambitious we were just a few days ago! Right?? Or am I the only one who falls into that horrible category? I am guessing not, I remember working at the Borgess Health and Fitness Center for so many years and this time of year, you had to wait in line for a treadmill….but by the end of Feb. it was all back to “normal”.
I really don’t have any new year’s resolutions. My life has changed dramatically now that we have added another little baby girl to our family. I am so in love with my girls…but I will admit “it” has all gotten a little harder for me, since I demand a lot out of myself running my own business.
I plan to set some goals for the year for my business, but the main thing I keep telling myself is to go easy on myself and my family this year. No need to cram so much in that we miss the most important things like seeing Noelle smile when she sleeps….or stop and listen to Norah sing “Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer” in the bathtub.

Remember to not get too busy with goals and resolutions and the business of everyday life to forget what a wonderful life we live.
