What a fun beautiful crazy day! Getting married at the State Capitol I have found involves a lot of people and hoops to jump through….and Matt and Maureen did an amazing job making it all go so smoothly. There were some big obstacles in the way that day….first was the wind, gale force winds! And…there was the OCCUPY protest outside of the Capitol all day long. Thankfully, the Capitol is stunning inside, so we had no problem staying inside out of the wind, away from the protesters and take some lovely photographs.
I want to say thank you to my great assistants for the day, Ray and Dani, they were such a huge help that day. Ray drove us through all the crazy traffic and construction and I just closed my eyes and let him get us “there”….he is a little more aggressive of a driver than I am! 🙂
Enjoy the photos….and don’t forget to check out the links to all the awesome vendors listed below…and if you would like to see more images of their wedding, click on the link after the photos to view a slideshow.
Right after we took photos of the dress we were asked to take it down…so glad I was able to sneak in the photos!!
LOVE the bling!!! Maureen, these shoes are AMAZING!!!!
If you think the shoes are fabulous (which they are)…check out the homemade bouquet. So sentimental with broaches that her loved ones
gave her at her wedding shower. LOVE this idea!!
Here is the “First Look”…I always recommend this special moment to couples….its so emotional and beautiful to witness and photograph!!
I could have photographed in here ALL DAY LONG!
For you photographers out there….if you ever shoot at the Capitol don’t forget your orange gels!!! The light in there is tricky and ORANGE. 😉
Love this building.
Giving the bouquet another look….
Maureen changed her hairstyle and her accessories after the ceremony….so cute!!!!
The happy family!
