Sweet Maeley came in for her first photography session with us. I had the privilege of photographing her big brother’s newborn session two years ago and am so thrilled to photograph Maeley’s newborn session. She was such a good baby with long gorgeous fingers.
Her newborn photography session just happened to be on Valentine’s Day, so we did one sweet valentines themed image. I have so much fun when my clients give me free reign to be creative and just see what we can come up with for a set.
Newborn photography has been a passion of mine over the last several years as I have learned more about it and progressed in the field of it. I get so excited waking up in the morning and realizing I have a sweet newborn baby to photograph that day.

These family photos are just precious. I used the same wrapping set up for both mom and then with big brother since she initially started the session awake. Wrapping a baby like this encourages them to just fall asleep. I love this pose and will be demonstrating it at the newborn photography class.
I unwrapped her a little and then added the pink wrap to do this pose….nice easy transition since I did not have to unwrap her completely and risk waking her up!
The other pose is the froggy pose! I will be demonstrating this pose in detail at the newborn photography class.
Sweet Valentines Day setup for the new love of their lives.
This is called “bum up” pose…one of my favorite poses to do each session due to its versatility.
Mom brought in a little mini volleyball so I got a little creative on this one. It is a three image composite. Excited how it turned out!!
