It’s a pretty cool story how I met Alissa and Nate. It starts 20 years ago (gulp) when I was going to Bible college for one year in Pennsylvania. I had the best babysitting job ever…babysitting Alissa and her little brother twice a week. That job was so nice to allow me to have a “home” to visit twice a week and get away from campus. Her family was always so kind and generous to me, and I never ever forgot that through the years. So now….20 years later, Alissa is in the Doctorate program at Western Michigan University for Behavior Science….and her mom knew I lived in Kalamazoo and looked me up so we could reconnect!!!
I am so happy for Alissa and honestly down right proud of her…I remember tucking her into bed at night as a sweet little four year old (she did way better at bed time than her brother) ;)….and look at her now. Happy and in love.
Their engagement photography session almost didn’t happen because of rain….but we waited it out and hoped the skies would clear and I am so glad we did…the end of the photography session we had beautiful sun shine.
One last thing, I have to mentioned their fur baby, Gus. He is one well loved dog and its so cute seeing them care for him together. They will be great parents someday!!
