When you read this blog… I will be on vacation. Vacation from a job I truly love and don’t even consider a job! So while I am on vacation, I will have my laptop and will be catching up on loose ends like making sure I am backed up correctly on EVERYTHING. I just can not let it go…I love photography way too much. Another part of my job that I adore is the amazing people I meet and am able to get to know. Below is a review from a bride, Amy. I did their wedding in April, and it was one of the best weddings I have done to date. They were so fun, easy, and they just had a blast on their wedding day. They made me feel like I was part of the party. I loved that! =)
Here is her review on my services….I was brought to tears when I read it. This is why I do this job. I make people happy, and in turn it just makes me feel like I am truly contributing to other people’s lives in ways I never could have.
I truly believe that my wedding would have been lacking one of the most beautiful things if you had not been my photographer. Your professionalism during all of our pre-wedding meetings made me feel so comfortable. I knew that my special day was in very capable hands. Aside from your professionalism, your fun-loving free spirit and passion for what you do was all my husband and I needed to not even bother pursuing other potential photographers.
You made our wedding all about us. You listened to what we wanted, and you made it happen. Your ability to “read us” and desire to capture our personalities made taking the photos the second biggest highlight of my wedding day… next only to marrying the love of my life! I still cannot believe how much fun everyone had! The wedding party STILL talks about you to this day and cannot wait to find reasons for you to photograph them!
Matt and I absolutely loved that there has been a step-by-step reception of all the photos you took – the slide show when we got home from the honeymoon (which still makes me cry!), the preview party at your studio with our closest friends, the gallery with all of our amazing phots for all to see, our GORGEOUS proof box, and the album we will be receiveing. I think the fact that we cannot settle on 40 photos for the album speaks to your immense and overwhelming talent and love for what you do! I have never looked more beautiful and I have never witnessed such artistic ability in my own, personal life. The moments you captured between my Matt and I are truly the reason we wanted to find the best of the best. And in my honest opinion, that is you, Melissa.
I would recommend you and every service that you provide to anyone who asked me. Thank you for all you do.
