This is a very special wedding that I am excited to share with you all. I met the bride, Sara, when she was 6 years old. Her family was so very kind to take in a girl they have never met to live with them….that girl was me. I was looking for housing while going to completing my Physical Therapy Assistant training. I can not thank them enough for their hospitality to me all those years ago. I have so many fun memories with my time there in their home. Well time ticks away, and I have not seen this family since my wedding day almost 14 years ago and they reached out to me last year to photograph Sara’s wedding. To say I am honored is an under statement. It has been so fun to reconnect and see how the kids have grown up! I was reminded again as I was with them of their kindness and generosity to me and to my family. The wedding took place right outside of Lancaster, PA. My family drove out there and we were able to make it a little Spring Break trip for us. Just a couple weekends ago, they had a Michigan reception at Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids, MI. I so enjoyed photographing them there….it was my first time there photographing professionally and that place is a photographer’s dream!!
I just want to wish Sara and Brent all the best in their very bright future together and please keep in touch! Let’s not go another 14 years ok!
