What a fun beautiful crazy day! Getting married at the State Capitol I have found involves a lot of people and hoops to jump through….and Matt and Maureen did an amazing job making it all go so smoothly. There were some big obstacles in the way that day….first was the wind, gale force winds! And…there was the OCCUPY protest outside of the Capitol all day long. Thankfully, the Capitol is stunning inside, so we had no problem staying inside out of the wind, away from the protesters and take some lovely photographs.
I want to say thank you to my great assistants for the day, Ray and Dani, they were such a huge help that day. Ray drove us through all the crazy traffic and construction and I just closed my eyes and let him get us “there”….he is a little more aggressive of a driver than I am! 🙂
