So…we all set our new year’s resolutions. Its been one LONG month, and how are you doing? I just looked back at my Jan. calendar on my trusty iCal….and wow…what a month. I set a couple goals for this year and then reality hit after the Holidays.
The year did not start out well. My long time manager/coworker/friend from Borgess, Brad, was killed in a car accident. I think about him and his family every day. When I think of Brad, I thank God for my family and everyday He gives me with them….we just do not know how many days we are given on this earth.
Jayme and I spent a week in Nashville, TN in January. I spent three days learning from some of the best photographers in the country. I came home with tons of ideas and a book of notes that I refer to almost everyday. Since we got home I have been trying my best to implement those ideas into my business.
I launched “Little Peanut”. Very excited to offer these fun quick sessions for kids.
I photographed a wedding last week, and just finished editing it! Wedding on Sat. Editing done on Tuesday!! Its amazing how much LightRoom has changed my life, and I must say being able to edit without interruptions is a huge bonus too!
January was an intense month on so many levels…I really hope it is not an indicator of how this year is going to work for me.
Now on to February…here’s hoping! It is so far going well! I just photograph a sweet angel today, here is a quick photo of the fun we had today! I will post more from this shoot very soon!!
