I moved to Kalamazoo in 1999, and started working at Borgess Hospital right away doing Physical Therapy. I am not practicing therapy anymore due to my new career choice of photography, and honestly I do not miss health care that much….but I do miss the friends and co-workers that I grew to love at Borgess. I spent four years working at the Borgess Health and Fitness Center and my co-workers there watch me fall in love with photography in those “early years”. Karen was one friend who always was a cheerleader for me, and so encouraging. I was able to photograph her engagement session many years ago, and now I am so honored she chose me to photograph their sweet baby boy. We have been waiting a long time for this little guy….he made his mommy wait a little longer than we all planned, but he was so worth the wait.
